The Statistics Administration Uzbek SSR reports that the third-quarter
1951 plan for gross production in the Uzbek SSR was fulfilled 99 percent,
including 103 percent by union enterprises and 97 percent by union-republic,
republic, find local enterprises. The production volume in the third quarter
1951 increased 20 percent over the third quarter 1950, including 16 percent
for union enterprises and 23 percent for unioc-.republic, republic, and local
enterprises.

tion plan as follows:

Dairy Industry -- butter; Main Administration of Fish Industry -- fish catch;
Ministry of Conet.s-uction Materials Industry -- unfired brick, roofing tile; and
window glass; Ministry of Local Industry -- carts, leather goods and shoes, knit-

The third-quarter 1951 plan for retail commodity turnover (including turn-
over in public eating enterprises) of state and cooperative trade was t, filled
92 percent.
"Uzbekbrlyashu" (Uzbek Union of Consumers' Societies) fulfilled the third-
quarter plan for retail commodity turnover 86 percent,. and Glavtorg of. the Minis-
try of Trade Uzbek 88R 96 percent.
