THE APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE. (FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 50X1-HUM. 1. On 15 September 1953, Director Lexow (phonetic spelling) of VEA RFT A~easger~astewe~k Zwoenitz had a discussion with the Head of the Development Division of the factory. From this conversation, it appeared that the Mbaageraetewerk had on hand a very 50X1-HUM import>e.nt develoxanent teak for the USSRo The exact nature of the task was net ~,,*,'i, clean from the conversation, but it is known that the plant ux'gently needs two decimeter teat receivers (Meaeempfaenger) for a wavelength of 50 to 90 oma err measuring and testing inatrxuuenta. Furthermore, in August 1953, the plant received 2,000 or 3,000 thermiatora from the USSF~'o It is believed that the first items were for the Russian task, and it is known that the second items were. 2.
