Abducted American Woman Held by Argentine Police
The 19-year-old daughter of an American Mennonite
missionary who was abducted from her home in Buenos Aires on
13 September has now been located. 50X1-HUM
U S embassy spokesman informed the
press that she has been released by her kidnappers but is 50X1-HUM

the People's Revolutionary Army (ERP) she may have been
kidnapped with the knowledge of the police, or by rightwing

CHRONOLOGY OF SIGNIFICANT INTERNATIONAL TERRORIST ACTS
Date: 9 September 1976 Arson at Chilean Embassy in
Vienna
Place: Austria, Vienna .Aire set in a Vienna office
building caused minor damage
to the entrance of the Chilean
embassy. The persons respon-
sible are not known, but police
assumed the arsonists were mem-
bers of a radical youth group
intent on marking the anniver-
sary of Allende's overthrow.

Date: 28 September 1976 U.S. Businessman Kidnapped
in Colombia
Place: Colombia Gustavo Curtis, the American
manager of the U.S.-owned
Beatrice Foods Company sub-
sidiary in Colombia, was
kidnapped in :Bogota by un-
known persons. Curtis and
his chauffeur were both
abducted after their car was
rammed on a Bogota street.
The driver was rele"ed
shortly afterward.

Place: Pakistan, Syrian Arab Airline offices
Rawalpindi in Rawalpindi and Karachi
Karachi were firebombed by unknown
persons on 30 September.
