The Lithuanian Railroad System fulfilled the third-quarter plan for loading
113 percent and for unloading 100 percent. The plan for locomotive overhaul was
fulfilled 113 percent and the plan for washing locomotives 111 percent. The plan
for mayor freight car repairs was completed 107 percent and for medium repairs,
100 percent.
The Main Administration of Automobile Transport, Council of Ministers Lithuanian
SSR, fulfilled the third-quarter plan for transport volume (in ton-kilometers) 110
percent and for passenger traffic, 93 percent.
The third-quarter capital-construction plan for Republic construction projects
was fulfilled 67 percent. From January to September 1949, the volume of capital
construction increased 18 percent over that of the name
third-
quarter plan was fulfilled as follows: period in 1948. The third-
