EUMMARY.
1. As a result of conferences between El Salvador and Honduras, a working agree-
ment to survey the border zone of Honduras-El Salvador has been approved by Honduras
through Minister Reyes Zelaya.
20 The two countries have agreed to the following:
ao Survey an area 20 Kilometers wide on both sides of the border.
b. Use aerial photography secured over the last two years by a firm under
contract to Army Map Service and compile maps of the area for reproduction at a scale
of 1:50,000.
c. IAGS to be the coordinating agent and general supervisor of the project,
to be called "United Cartographic Program - Honduras-El Salvador," An IAGS engineer
from El Salvador being named project manager.
d. No effort to be made to delineate the border
