DINAMO PLANT MAKES TRACTOR, FARM-MACHINE SPARE PARTS -- Moscow, Vech, yaya

In 1953, nine shops of the Moscow Dinamo Plant will produce more than
12,000 spare parts for tractors, seeders, and potato diggers. On 1 September,
this assignment was 75 percent complete. The plant will also build 2 boilers,
300 square meters of hothouses, and 2,000 hotbed frames for two nearby kolkhozes.
PRODUCES TRACTOR PARTS, OTHER EQUIPMENT FOR NTS -- Minsk, Sovetskaya Belorussiya,

V. G. Zholnarkevich, chief engineer of the Minsk Machinery and Repair Plant,
states that the plant has greatly exceeded its production plan for the first 9
months of 7953. The p]3nt ('e livered to MPS of the Belorussian SSR more than
6,400 rocker arm bushings, 1,460 sliding couplings, and more than 1)000 water
pump bushings.
In addition to tractor parts, the plant has delivered to MIS 150 winches
for brush cutters, hundreds of sets of fittings, and hundreds of glass water
gauges for feed steamers.
SHORTAGES OF PARTS DELAY TRACTOR ENGINE REPAIRS -- Minsk, Sovetskaya Belorussiya,

K. Anikeychik, director of. the Baranovichi Repair Plant, states that, in.
addition to repairing tractor engines and agricultural machines for MI5, the
plant produces 160 types of tractor and agricultural machine parts.
The plant produces pistons for starting motors for the KD-35 and the DT-54
tractors ant piston rings, cylinders, oil pumps, and crankcases for the DT-54
and the NATI tractors.

The plant has over 130,000 rubles' worth of engine parts but cannot
assemble a single engine because other plants do not deliver needed parts.
Deliveries of crankshafts for DT-54 tractors have been particularly meager.
PLANT PRODUCES VARIETY OF FARM NACRINES -- Baku, Bakinskiy Rabochiy,

The Baku Machinery Plant imeni Gusi Gadzhiyev, Ministry of Agriculture
and Procurement Azerbaydzhan SSk, produces pumps used by kclkhozes in land
reclamation work, produces spare harts for tractors and tractor engines, and
repairs mobile well-boring machines. The plant now has a special shop for over-
hauling tractor engines.
The plant plans to produce hay stackers and cast-iron plates for irriga-
tion ditches.

Personnel of the Stalinabad Truktorodetal' (T,,ractor Parts) Plant are
making great efforts to comulete the yearly production plan ahead of schedule.
The plant produces spare parts for the Universal and the STZ-NATI tractors.
For almost 3 years, shop No 6 has held the plant Red Banner for exceeding its
production plans.

The Gomel' Repair Plant, in addition to repairing various makes of tractor
engihes, produces testing stands for engires, large-size tanks for fuel storage,
and many different tyres of spare parts for tractors and agricultural machines.
Recently, the plant has begun the production of roofing sheet iron and
retchines for moving loo grain in barns and grain elevators.

Among the many -)'ant shops producing tractor spare parts, the fuel equipment
shop p.uduced eavera). thousand valves, fuel sprayers, and plungers above the
production plan.
The Ii'har',:ov Read 1 achiner Plant has produced 700 units for IHTZ.-7
tractors in excess of the production plan.
In September and October, I1iar'I:ov machine building plants produced tens
of thousands of spare parts for agricultural acciines in excess of production
plans.
