the purpose of filling in the salt lake existing there; small craft used
in the filling work moored at a vmodden pier near the tip of the spit.

observed a small level grass c
learing in the area of Kosa
Sudzhukskaya and saw a single-engine, propeller-driven, passenger plane
take off and land. Near the clearing was a masonry building and near the
building were three radars, either mounted on towers that were about three
meters tall or possibly on motor vehicles.
4. Merchant versus in the roadstead of Novorossiysk were watched during the
day by only one motor patrol boat, which cruised continuously around the 50X1 -H-HUM
area.
At intervals during the night, the searchlights on both
.sides of Novorossiyskaya Bukhta illuminated the vessels in the roadstead.
5. The control commission at Novorossiysk consisted of two police officers,
three enlisted men, a customs official, a woman doctor, and the INFLOT
representative.
6. The following Soviet merchant vessels were observed at Novorossiysk
