SUBJECT: Tentative Plans for the Location of Remote Devices in the
Support Directorate for the MIS System
In response to a request from the Office of Communications to provide
tentative information regarding the installation of remote devices in the
Support Directorate for the Management Information System, the attached
list has been compiled for the purpose of giving some indication of the
number of locations that may require remote service. The list has been
prepared in two ways: (1) by component and (2) by location. However,
the system has not been designed. This list is highly speculative and
tends to anticipate requirements which may :never materialize, or may
be impossible to justify. Some of thel locations of Personnel
and Security may be considered for consolidated use of input/output process-
ing centers,
