Plcnt histor The factory was built about 1940 and is continually being anlar ;ed. The machines coming from the Zeiss Werke, JENA, were ur 1oaaded at the edge of site as dismantled goods. (New building site.) The now buildings were for the precision instruments aection,.which was re=established there. 17. Many Geeranan engineers of the Zeiss firm were employed in the factory. They had been transferred there with their faanilies. Among them vas am renowned (professor who was said to be a gl?ags-cutting specialist. Production.- W`indov.f glas, searchlight glass, aircraft panes, triangular mirrors (prisms ?) for armored vehicles, end glass plates 30x30 cm and 5 cm thick. 20.
