The following quantities of tueta`ss were imported by Rumania from the Soviet Union during the period 1 July 31 August 1919: Quantity Raw steel) Steel wire) l,320 tons Copper 5,800 tons Lead 11,763 Remarks 65 percent of this total is of Polish origin. For use in execution of Soviet orders. From Soviet Union 65 percent of Polish origin. 2. The steel was first treated in th;- 2urda steel works and then passed to Steagul Roau, Brasov. Steagul Eo 3u was expanded in the summer of 1919 when 700 more workers were employkd. it is operated by a team of Soviet specialists, including 7 engineers, 2 technicians and 14 foreman under Engineer V. tacevich. Percentage of Rumanian industrial output taken by the Soviet Union 3. Over 50 percent of the output of Rumanian combines goes to fulfill Soviet orders, the percentage being even higher in many individual factories as is indicated below.
