Ithe second and third meetings
of the EKO (Metallurgical Combine East) Commission. Fritz Selbrnann, Minister of Metal-
lurgy and Mining, is chairman. The members of the Commission are: Karl-Heinz Zieger,
Rudolf Rossmeisel, and Fritz Walter; also taking part are Helmut Dahinten, party organizer
of the Central Committee of the SED (Socialist Unity Party), and the two party secretaries,
Kurt Lindner, Otto Mittelmann.
The second meeting took place on 12 February 1952; the agenda were: working out an
organization plan for various plant departments; personnel changes; target dates of the
Fuerstenberg Construction Union for furnaces III and IV; report on setting dustcatcher II
in operation and the general situation of the blast furnace operation; the investment
plans for 1952 (87 million Deutsche marks are already approved, 10 million additional
still to be approved).
The third meeting was held 19 February 1952. The agenda were: supervision of the
work to meet the target dates set at the second meeting; consideration of the resolt50X1-HUM
of the Council of Ministers concerning EKO and the obligations resulting therefrom.

the fourth meeting of the
EKO (Metallurgical Combine East) Commission held e ruary 1952 at Fuerstenberg.
Fritz Selbmann, Minister for Metallur-W and Mining, is chairman of the Commission; the
members are Karl -Ieinz Zieger, Rudolf Rossmeisel, and Fritz Walter. Also in attendance
were the party rSED (Socialist Unity Party) 7 secretaries Ilelmat Dahinten and Kurt
Lindner.
The agenda for this meeting were: supervision of the work to meet the target dates
set up at the third meeting of the Commission; consideration of the total target date
program and the investments for 1952- consideration of the minutes of the adviso
commission
