Bill Kotapish attended a meeting of the National Drug Policy Board chaired
by the Attorney General. (NIO/Narcotics)
Estimates and Intelligence Memoranda
Interagency coordination meetings are scheduled on: Turke : Prospects for
Democracy and The Military Balance Between Greece and Turkey: How It
taS nds--Where i s Headed--What It Means.
Larry Budge, accompanied by (principal drafter) will travel 25X1
to Europe 27-30 April to brief General Galvin, Supreme Allied Commander,
Europe, on the IIM: Soviet-Warsaw Pact Capabilities Against United States
Special Operations Forces in Eastern Europe. This 11M was requested by General
Rogers, General a vin s predecessor. Visits with European Command J-2 and J-3

Guidance to the Intelligence Community
Dan Webster and cochaired an interagency meeting on
Afghanistan, the outcome of which will be a tutorial for policymakers on what
the Intelligence Community can and cannot do during the withdrawal of Soviet
forces from Afghanistan. (NIO/Near East and South Asia and A/NIO/USSR)
Larry Gershwin held a seminar on Soviet nuclear doctrine involving
Intelligence Community analysts and representatives. (NIO/Strategic Programs)
