During your Agency service, you have helped ensure that this Nation's intelligence was our first line of defense. You indeed played a major part in the protection of our country's precious freedoms. Your Central Intelligence Agency career has made an important mark on this organization. You'have managed it all, including operations, Analysis, Science and Technology and Administration. In each of your assignments of increased responsibility you have shown true professionalism, extreme dedication, motivated leadership and total commitment to the Agency. You have a right to be proud of your many years of affiliation with the Central Intelligence Agency. A true measure of the esteem upon which you are held is the deep respect that all Agency employees have for you and their association with someone of your high personal integrity. The many awards bestowed upon you in your Agency career reflect the outstanding nature of your service. The fact that you have been bestowed the highest Central Intelligence Agency achievement award is reflective of your superior accomplishments. I personally retain a sense of pride in being associated with you in our joint efforts to revitalize and enhance our Nation's foreign intelligence capabilities. I know that you leave the Central Intelligence Agency with a genuine feeling of pride and satisfaction for your accomplishments.
