Last night'a lowest temperatiu?e in ?loscow was zero; it was 3 degrees above
zero at noon today.(1)
Yesterday during the day, cloudy weather with li,;ht rains and fog ore-
vailed in the Delorussian SSR.
Daytime temperatures were 2 d?green above zero in Vitebsk, 3 in ldogi,kfv
and Minsk, 4 in Polotsk, 5 in Gomel', 6 in Pinsk, and 7 in Grodno.(2)
On 30 November, mostly cloudy weather prevailed in the Azerbaydzhan SSR.
During the morning, snow fell in some localities. 'Pemperatures in the moiui-

both during the night and during the day, and temperatures in the steppe
regions ranged between zero and 2 degrees below zero during the night and be-

Azerbaydzhan SSR. Ligh; winds xere recorded. Temperatures ranged between 5
and 10 degrees below zero during the night and between ore degree below zero

This morning, overcast weather with snow and strong winds in some local-
ities prevailed in the eastern regions of the European USSR.
Last night's lowest temperature in Moscow was one degree belox zero. It
was 5 degrees above at noon today.(1)
Yesterday during the day, cloudy with clearing weather with little pre-
cipitation prevailed in the Belorussian SSR. Temperatures at 1500 hours were
degrees above zero in Vitebsk, 4 in Mogilev, 5 in Grodno, Gomel' and Minsk,
and 7 in Lel'chitsy and Brest.(2)
4 December
Last night's lowest temperature in Moscow was 4 degrees above zero; it
was 5 degrees at noon today.(1)
Yesterday during the day, cloudy with clearing weather prevailed in the
Belorussian SSR. Light rains fell in the northern portion of the republic.
Temperatures at 1500 hours were 5 degrees above zero in Vitebsk and Polotsk,
6 in Mogilev, 7 in Minsk and Baranovichi, 8 in Bobruysk and Brest, 9-in Grodno
and Pinsk, and 10 in Mozyr.(2)
During the last 24 hours, mostly cloudy weather prevailed in the
Azerbaydzhan SSR. Rains fell in sons localities in the lowlands and snow
fell in the mountain regions. Light winds were recorded. Temperat ea dur-

akaye ASSR and between zero and 4 below in the rest of the republic. Daytime
temperatures ranged between 3 and 7 degrees below zero in the Nakhichevanskaya

russinn SSR. Fog was recorded in some localities in the western portion of

skaya ASSR ranged between 12 and 18 degrees below zero during the night and

Yesterday during the day, cloudy with clearing weather prevailed in the

On 8 December, cloudy weather without precipitntion prevailed in the
Estonian SSR. Light to moderate westerly winds were recorded. Daytime tem-

This morning, cloudy, weather prevailed in most of the European USSR.
Temperatures dropped in the northern regions of the Europenn USSR. Snow was
recorded i.z some localities in the northwestern, central, and eastern regions
of the European USSR. Foq wns recorded in the Baltic republics and the~Belp-
russinn and Ukrain'an SSRs.
Temperatures at 0700 hours this morning xere 13 degrees below zero in~
Nar'yun-Mar, 12 below in Syktyvkar, 5 below in tfolotov, 4 below in Kiev 3;be-

Diolotov, 17 below in Kirov, 16 below in Kazan', 15 below in Clieboksary, 10 be-
low in Kostroms, 9 below in Vologda and Kuybyshev, 7 below in Orel, 6 below
in Leningrad and Minsk, 5 below in Smolensk, 4 below in Riga, 3 below in Kiev,
1 below in Arkhcngel'sk, 1 degree above zero in Dnepropetrovsk, 2 in Novorossiysk,
and 4 in Odec;n and Sochi.
Last night's lowest temperature in I?foscow and the temperature at noon to-
day were both 8 degrees below zero.(1)
Yesterday during the day, cloudy weather with fog and precipitation pre-
vailed in the Belorussian SSR. Temperatures at 1500 hours were 7 degrees be-
low zero in Vitebsk, 6 below in Polotsk, 5 below in Mogilev, 2 below in Minsk

12 December
This morning, warm, cloudy weather with light precipitation in some lo-
calities prevailed in the Baltic rep;:blics, the Belorussian SSR, and the western
portion of the Ukrainian SSR. S1i;;iitly cloudy weather wi;,h light to moderate
subzero temperatures prevailed in the central regions of the European USSR, the
eastern portion of the Ukrainian SSR, and the Lower Volga Region. Overce.st
weather with snowfalls was recorded in the Afiddle Volga Region and Kirovskaya
and Molotovakaya oblasts. Warm weather with pre~initation in the form of rain
and wet snow fell in the nortl;ern po:?tion of the European USSR.
Last night's lowest temperature in idoscow was 8 degrees below zero; it
was 5 degrees below at noon today.(1)

Fog and light precipitation were recorded in some localities in the western

Yesterday during the Say, cloudy xeather accompanied by light snoxfalls
and Yog-in some localities prevailed in the Belorussian SSR. Temperatures at
1500 hours xere 9 degrees belox zero in I.yntupi, 8 belox in Grodno and.Volozhin,
7 belox:in Polotek, 6 below in Vitebsk, Minsk, and Baranovichi, 5 be?.ox in
Mogilev and Bobruysk, 4 below in Gomel', Pinsk, and Brest, 2 belox i.n'Mozyr,
and zero in.Lel'chitay.(2)
On 30 December, slightly cloudy, dry xeather prevailed for the most part
in the Azerbaydzhan SSR. Fogs xere recorded in some localities ir. the moun-
tain regions. Temperatures in the Nakhiche;?anskaya ASSR ranged between 18 and
22 degrees belox zero during the night and between 14 and 18 degrees belox
during the day. Temperatures in the rest of the republic ranged betxeen 3 and
8 degrees below zero during the night and betxeen 2 degrees below zero and 2
