The result of this effort is the utilization of economic working tools, namely, heavy-duty machine tools. ~~'he manufacturer; is putting his capital to best use when he keeps a strict eye on the economic aspects of his pla.n~t, wren to the tiniest details. I~ot only must he employ machines. and tools of greatest efficiency so that new labor forces may be released, but he must also utilize only the most advantageous machine ~~ every step of the operation. Thus in finishing operations we use no 1ar~e machine tools, but small mach~_nes of modern design, that is, finishing lathes which, in addition. to requiring little space, a.re relativel~r cheap. ~r~e are concentrating our manu~'a.cture for the present on light and meda.um lathes in a.ll models necessary for plant operations. In the following we give the technical. data and descriptions of the ma.chir~es produced by us. All cast pieces are subjected to are aging process recommended by the American society for Metals ..and are used only after repeated a.nspection, All cast feces depending upon the construction demands, have a Brinell hardnESS' p ~ of I-~b ~ 180W220 kg,/mm2 There necessary, hardened gears of chrome-nickel. al].'oy steel., firrished on a ~~,AAG s stem gear grinder, are installed throughout zf required, ..central. y lubrication ar an oil bath can be furnished. The principle of extensive interchangeability of parts is the prime con- sideration in our manufacturing process. Qur process operates within the ISA Pass~Systcm. The machines a.re produced on tk~.e most modern mach~.ne tools within the :tolerance limits :established by professor Schlesinger. I~' the custam.er wishes, closer tol.erax~ces can be prav~.ded. Ever .single part is tested as to quality, prec~.sion, and performance by y an inspection system independent of the product~.on department. ~.Che precision roduction machines, the jig drill.sa the threacl~grinding machines,: the special.: p lathes for turn~.ng out exact Lead screws, and allso the Costing apparatus are 0 ke t in rooms where the temperature is at a constant 20, degrees CentigradE;. p Declassified in Part -Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2012J03/20 :CIA-RDP82-000398000100240014-0 ;~ can ~~~~ can ~. ~~~~~o~aw$,~ ~~ix~.ci~~.~ ?~'~c~xr2 S~ra~c~.~.~?d ~~~x~x~!~~ ~.'~ ~~,~ ~' ~.r;~?~~~~ v~.~~~~ ~~?~m~.sa ~: ~n ~`~~? ~~~.nd:~~ ~~d:~ ~~"~~zn ~at~ ~~ ~.~ ~~~ ~:~p:~~tl o ~~ ~ ~~ ~:~ ~~~1~ ~a~~~.~ ?~~:,: ~~z~ ~a~~c~11ac~ ~r?~~~a~.c, ~.~.?~h~~ ,~~.:~. ~~~~~~~x~ Declassified in Part -Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2012/03/20 '~~.~ ~~~~,~res ~~i~ ~~ec~s~.a~a c~~` r~u~`~.c?~ure a~~i k~~ak~s ~Yxe ~xadtxx~~s off" t~2e na~~s~.~m~xat~ ~.r~dc~~r~dex~?~ ~~' ~;1~~ ~a.xn~ ~~' d~~ yr ~e~ ~V~x~ ~~.z~i~.d~~ ~. ~.,~~ ~~rx~~?~~.~.edd ~~ic~ ~~s~inla::' ~hc~~~ ~.~ ~~ c~~~+a~.~~d ~k~~~;: ~a~~ ~~ c~x~~ ~~~ ~'~~'~ ~~ ~ ~~r~1b~.~ d bar :~~.~ ~~ ~rr~i~.~ ~~` ~~~ ~~~ ~~~~ ~:~a~~~..~~1ad~.x~~.~. ~~~d ~~ ,~a~ ~~~~.~ ~.s~.x~d,_ cud.+~~~.~. ~`~~:d~ ~~ ~ ~~~ ~. ~~r~~~x u~.S~ ~;tc~ ~c~~x~~~.~~~.~r rr~~c~.~x h~.~~c~ c~y~S~.~'L:~.~z~d ~.~ ~.~ ~x~t~ ~~' ~~~~ xrxa~l ~~~d~~" :~c~~u~?~~~/ x~c:~~.ax~:~c' ~ :~.~?~l~e~ ~r~ ~~xe m~.~~~~~4 ~~~,d~ ~~'~~~ ~~A ?~~h~~~ ~~~~rx'~~ ~~x~ a~ 'd~~a~ ~~~~?~'~~.~ ~~~c~ ch~~~?1~~:~"~ ~'~~.~5~ 'u ~~~ ~~ .~ ~~~ ~ ~s ~ p~?Qduc~'~a.c~~, ~.`l~~~ A~~~.~~~.~ cat" c~~'~~~~ ~. ~.~~ azam~ ~~~ m~cht.x~a ~~:~ ~, u~~~~~ :~.exx~~~ ~~" ,~~3t~ ~ "~0~ - ~~~. ~, ~h~z~;~~4,~~~? ~'c~s~ u ~:~ ~ ~~;~ d~au~.i~ ~~~d ~~.~ e~ a.~ ~a~'~.~.~~e v:~.~~.~ ~~ ~rc~~??~~x; ~,~7~~~~?a,~xa.~ ~a:~' ~3 ~~ ~~.~ xr~/~r~.x1~ ~~~~3nxm 1>~ xn~n/r~~~ ~ ~.xz ~?~~r~~s~, ~lx~ a~c,~.~c~ ~~.~1~ a~~d~ ~~~ ~'e~d .~ ~.,xa~':i.xx~,?~~ ~r.?~.~,~~~ 1z~,` ~:n '~ x~,~m~.ax, :~~ ~. ~~~i~ ~uiU~~~.~ ~`cx~~ ~cadu~'~ri~ , xr.~s ,roaelu~~,~.~~. ~~~~~;~~~~ x~acx~c~~ ~~.~~~~ ~u~x~ ;r~~ ~h?~~a ~~~~ ~ b 'S~~e' ~~,~h ~.~,x.~ c~~ xra~a~~.ax~ ~~~~d ~~~~,a/rr~). d ~~.~ ~~~,~r can~~c`~a.n~ xnc~ ~,~ , ~a~rt~~u~,~.~?~.y su~.~~,~~.e ~4~ ~:~.~~~ m~~~? m~~l~~.r~,xx,~:;~ 0 0 ~~~ mu~~~~~e cute d~~a,~n m~~~~ ~,~~ a ~x~~~x~- w~.~:,~; ~h~ r~~,~nst ~p~c~~'~.c ~u~'~,a. ~a~a~ uxx t~,e m~;xk~~. 0 ~~ ~.6~ z~. tae dev~~.a~xr~~~.~ off" ~ruadr~:~ra :~rxdu~~ a~~,~,~e~ x~~~ aa~.y ~n~,cl~a a ~1~~ ~~~~~ ~~ ~~.r ~lic~p~ ?~ra ~~ ~~a~~~ ~,'~?~~n~~~.an ~v the ~ac~1;~ essen.~~~1, ~ax~ 0 ~~,~~~ ~c~~sb ` ~e ~rc~du.c~ ~,~ ~ ~~~ ~~~~ l~~,c~~~~a~o~'~' :l.a~h~a ~~ ~~~~~~ ~~~~~.~u~.ar x~ned~ 0 ~n m~;d~ ~~~~~ ~:~ l~~h~ ,~~,~xa~~ ~d wc~xkr~l~a~~ ~a,~, ~~h~xn~~~,~~ ~a '~~a~~ `~v ~'~r~d1~c~ ~+~ Mfr ~~ Q' M,' yY.
