EL SALVADOR/ HUNTER-GAULT: Over in the House of Representatives,
U.S. AID Speaker Tip O'Neill said today that Democratic leaders
will oppose administration efforts to send $93 million in
emergency military aid to El Salvador. O'Neill criticized
what he called the White House's 'back door approach' to
link the emergency aid to other legislation.
