During; the period from 8 to 16 November 1951, as many as 50 unarmed soldier, s wearing red-bordered black epaulets were seen daily arriving at, and depart- ing from, the Altruppin (N 53/Z 49) railroad station. All these soldiers arrived from the direction of, and left toward, Neustadt. (1) 2. Twelve pontoons and 2 flatcars with engineer equipment were dispatched from the Altruppin railroad station toward Neustadt on 17 November. (2) 3. About 1,600 unarmed troops, who were about 20 years old and. wore red-border- ed black epaulets, arrived in Altruppin aboard a train of 47 boxcars at 6:30 a.m.. on 26 Povember, and marched to the Fridericus Kaserne. About 600 troops wearing red-bordered black epaulets v,ith tank insignia were seen boarding 16 boxcars at 8:30 p.m., and departing toward deustadt. They were trained troops and NCOs. (1) It. The following troop shipments were listed in the records of the Altrupr: i.n railroad station between 25 and 30 November: 25 November. Fifty-three boxcars with troops arrived at Altruppin via Guhen and were unloaded. (1) 26 November. Nineteen boxcars with troops were dispatched from Altruppin to Doeheritz (3) 28 November. Seven cars with troops arrived at Altruppin from Schwerin 50X1-HUM (4) 50X1-HUM 30 November. Fourteen boxcars with troops were dispatched from Altruppin to rrrankfurt/Oderborder (5) Four boxcars with troops 50X1-HUM were dispatched from Altruppin to Altengrabow. 5. A train which passed through Eberswalde (N 53/V 08) at 10 a.m. on 17 i?ovember50X1-HUM coming from the direction of I3ernau and proceeding toward Frankfurt/Oder, consisted of eight boxcars, each of which was occupied by about 40 soldiers who wore reel-bordered black epaulets and were not believed to be recruits.
