1. Prior to 22 november 1950, the Soviet :-lain komendantura is
Liegnitz (0 52/B 82) was located on the north side of Joch-
mannstrasse, between Luisenstrasse and Viktoriastrisse.
2. The Soviet court-martial build was located at the intersection of
Thebesiusstrasse (west side) and Doeslerstrasse (-north side),
with its entrance on Thebesiusstrasse. The residence of the
Soviet post commander bordered on the south side of the court
building, ="arshal Rokossovsky had. lived there once,
3. The villas on Dovestrasse were occupied by Soviet officers
and their families. Lo offices were seen. Soviet sentries
were posted in front of the building of the former German
division headquarters on Bitschenstrasse and in front of
the former Maus der Viehrmacht on the same street. The use
of these buildings was unknown,
4. The main workshops of the post, shoemaker and tailor shops,
were located in the city center, on Grosser Ring and
