Diesel Engine Yodels
1. Two sets of the 4-cylinder 80 b.h.p. Diesel engine models which were ordered by
the Russians from Modellbau Wernip;erode, Modellbsu Dessau and Lodellbau 1!L rzgerod.e
are now 60`a completed. It is not expected that they v.ill be completed before
November 1948. Ulyanov, technical manager of the tU'insk tractor factory, has,
however, arrived to take delivery of them,.
2. The second pair of 4-cylinder models has now been serepp d xn favor of 6-cylinder
models. The drawings of t?,a 6-cylinder models have not yet br-,en pr:ssed by Better
and Co., Dessau to Modellbau Ytiernigorode. These drawings have st3.11 to be sent
to ti--e USSR for examination- and approval.,. It is, therefore, doubtful whether the
construction of these models will be completed for a loran time. They are des?:inod
for the Yaroslavl tractor factory.
Agricultural "machinery - - -
3. The firm of Meier and Weichelt, Leipzig;, has been given orders by the Russians
amounting to 1,500,000 Gstmarks, for agricultural machinery for t}:e TJ SR. 1j;
s htandinc out the work to numerous sub-contractors in the Russian Zone.
