JACK ANDERSON: Will Moscow switch sides in the Middle

this message.
Soviet weapons have been blamed for Arab losses in
the Middle East but the Kremlin says its weapons worked fine.
It is the Arabs who used them who are to blame.
I predict that the Russian leaders wi l l become dis-
enchanted with their Arab allies and eventually wi l l switch sides.
Let me quote from a top secret and extremely substantive
CIA document: a growing number of Soviet officials in Moscow favor
relations with Israel, arguing that the absence of Soviet/Israeli
diplomatic ties favor Washington's Middle East diplomacy.
