Information
activity was conducted. 1 A steel cylinder was observed on a trestle next
to each of the 14 MiG-15s which were parked on the eastern dispersal
area. 2 All of the MiG-15s parked at the field had an auxiliary fuel tank 25X1
under each wing proximately under the mid-wing. Tha rear tion of 25X1
the fusels was sembled on 2 HiG-15e. Truck and van-like
truck were parked west of the aircraft repair shop. 25X1
There was a 3/10 overcast, clear visibility and no wind. No air
Between 1330 and 1730 on 18 June 1955, Parndorf airfield was occupied
by 30 MiG-15s 25X1
Comment. Parndorf airfield is still ocnupied by a Soviet fighter
e went. MiG-15 had been reported from Deutsch Wagram in 1952 and n
has previously been observed in Parndorf. 25X1
Comment. The steel cylinders presumably were compressed air flasks.
