On 17 May 1954, a special group of scientists of VEB Funkwerk Koepenick aas
assigned the task of supervising the c1mpletion and delivery of the large

Ing. Gottfried Schuppang (head of the group) - in charge of TES-1
Ing. Franz Suchomski _ assistant to Schuppang and responsible for
Ing. Kurt Heinemann administrative and organizational problems 25X1
All of these men belonged to the TES (technical development of large trans-

Rein was transferred from TES to Braunhold's office to serve as technical

SL-2 transmitter.
