It is suggested that in the deduction of the 36 P a groups
of the ftbnikov (black and white) groups 12 groups are
not distinct but we only repetitions in different
orientations of others. 12 other groups are thought
to have been omitted.
Derivations of the groups 387 (Faccm) and 388 (Pbmb)
are taken as examples. It is found that Pabmb must be
replaced by Pamaa . The co-ordinates of the black and
white equivalent points in the 3 groups are listed. All
co-ordinates of Pabmb can be transformed into those of
P ocm by the following matrix: the co-ordinates of the
Card 1/3 black and white points are exchanged. No matrix will

The simple rule is that if the x- co-ordinates are
identical for two settings connected by a transformation

Anti-loukocyte antibody determinations were runi
on 17 patients with agranulocytosis and leuko-
peniat 9 with myeloid leukemia, 8 with blood
diseases and on 20 clinically healthy individ-
uals. The Doss direct leukocyte agglutination
method was employed, as well as a new one basedl
on the relative.reduction in the effectiveness
of antiglobulin serum using previously sensl-
tized leukocytes, Determinations were run on

Results of laboratory tests in 92 cases of different types of haemorrhagic -ondi-
ti
tions were studied In connection with differential diagnosis. Coagulation
thrombin time, pro1hrombin consumption, number and morphology of thr,)mboc)'Ies
bleeding time and clot retraction were the chief metaods used. In some cases it
was found necessary to add separate determinations of proaccelerin. pro,.-onvertin,
prothrombin and fibrinogen and the correction of recalcification time by normal
plasma. The thromboplastin generation test, identification of antibodies itrid dc-
terminationof type of haernophilia should be carried out only in specialized labora-
tories where wide clinical and technical experience is available. The cauies of
pathological results in the basic tests are discussed in relation to differential
diagnosis.

The fractions of pn)tein and lipid from lipoprotein were estimated by paper electro-
phoresis in Isolated thrombocytes. By preparative elect rophoresis it was shown
thrit the main coogulative action of thrombocytes resides in zone D. the lipoprotdin
fraction. Precipitation with 50% saturated ammonium sulphate, showed that the
protein fraction of ;ilattlet Upoprotsin is a%-globulin. No statistically significant
differences in total %mounts of protein and lipid fractions of lipoproWns in plate-
lets from normal, thrombocytopento and thrombacytotic patients were found.
