AHSTRr~CT: A study was made of the dependence of the coefficient of ion-electron
emission on the angle of incidence of a graphite target and polycrystallinE� metal
(Cu, Ag, Mo. Zr, W, I3i~ targets, bon~-barded with inert gas and nitrogen ions at
25--30 kev, The application of a magnetic field parallel to tlae axis of ro'I.ation
shows that both the positive and negative ion currents to the collector area negligibly
