BROADBAND ANTFNNAS, FILTERS AND DETECTORS
Purpose: To determine the feasibility of developing a broadband system
for the 50 me to 40,000 me frequency range.
Personnel: Electrical Engineers:
Status: A preliminary study was made to determine the dimensions of the
filters necessary to fulfill the customer's requirements. This
study consisted primarily of a search of the literature and a
survey of commercially available filters. It was concluded that
a comprehensive study program will not be necessary and that
filters of reasonable sizes can be designed, using fairly well-
known techniques. The estimated sizes of the various filters
involved are included in the final engineering report. With
this, the study program was completed and the final engineering
report written. The preparation of this report has been completed
except for some minor editing and publishing.
Future Plans: The final engineering report will be published.
