SUBJECT: Support From Logistics
1. We have been very impressed and gratified at the support
received from the Logistics Operations Center for our field bureau
automation efforts. Our bureaus at Vienna, Hong Kong, and Bangkok have
received their large shipments of computer equipment, intact and exactly
on the date projected. This, in turn, has kept all of the bureau and
contractor personnel on schedule and greatly decreased the operational
impact of automation on the bureau.
2. Similarly, we are pleased in our initial experience with the
people on rotation to I would especially also like to
commend the efforts of The transition
to the Automated FBIS System (AFS) is not without its pain. The high
level of professional skills which Richard and Bob bring to the job
coupled with a willingness to work 6 days a week to get the job done have
been absolutely essential to the program. They are truly team players,
never seeking to blame others, always ready to help under trying
circumstances.
