a. Both President Dorticos
and Foreign Minister Roa have ex-
pressed optimist about the present
course of US-Cuban relations--"bet-
ter off now than before" the missile
crisis.

a new coastal defense cruise missile
site adjacent to the present Santa
Cruz del Norte site 25 miles east

4. Argentina
? a. The government fears that
the current "Week of Protest" spon-
sored by the General Confederation
of Labor may be the prelude to revo-
lutionary activity.
b. A police dragnet is out for
former General Miguel Iniguez, a
Peronist who maintains contacts with
top labor leader Andres Framini.
c. Peronist Framini's extreme
left views alarm more moderate Per-
onists, who are afraid that their
movement--already split--is subject
to more Communist penetrations.
