We received recently the attached letter, dated June 1, 1965,
from the U.S, Department of Labor requesting details of the
payments of wages being made in connection with captured
employees Eugene Henry L~eBruin, Yik-Chin To, Prasit Prutnsuwan,
PisidYii Indradat and Prasidhi Thanee. We have drafted the enclosed
response for your review and in connection therewith call your
attention to the first full paragraph on page 2 thereof.
Inasmuch as these ;.natters have heretofore been handled Ley the
WAS office, you may wish to subr~~it the response fror. there.
Cn the other hand, if you prefer that we finalize the matter
in the Field, please return the attached draft with your
comments , if any.
