20 September, at about 0400-a huge star suddenl~~??fired up in the dare sky, impulsively
sending shafts of light to-the earth. ThiaVatar ~o.Yed s~orrly toward yetrosavodsk and,
spreading oVt.ovar.it_.in.~h~.to~f a medusa hung there, showering the city aitb a _..
multitude of very-fine rays Whleh created an image of pou,?i>g rain.
After same Lima the ~Ir~inescent rays ceased. The "medusa" turned into a bright semi-
clrole and resumed its arovement-in-the direction of-Lake_One6a, the hori$on of r+Q-i.ch -- -
vas shrouded in dray cloud. A se-t'_c:~:~:~: ;,col of Drigh: light, red in :.ae middle and
white at the sides. then foiraed i.n this shroud. TY-is phenomenon, according to the
testimony of eyewitnesses, lasted XO-12 minutes. -
