After I was transferred to the lkth Plaval District end attached
to CSnCPae, Idilitary Government Staff. 2 received official word from
BuPera that n6' request for transfer to the 033 had been dianpproved?
Although I Imes of Captain0 unfavorable endorsement of ~
request before I left Iionterey, 2 was not altogether certain EuPers
would act unfavorably.
I am again making an official request for transfer, end only
hope that the billet Pith OSS for en officer of my qualifications is
still available. It is possible for ma to mabe this request at this
time because of certain operational changes affec use of
Naval Idilitary Government of oth Captain n6' com-
mandirq; officer. and Captain D'ilitary Government Officer
for Commander in Chief, L'.:i.:acific Fleet end Pacific Ocoan Area,
