1. In late May 1962 the delegation in exile of the 30 November Revolutionary
Movement answered a letter of 17 April from- the national directorate of *130
movement in Cuba and discussed differences between the exile and internald'~
organization.'
2. The exile organization wrote that it had been annoyed by the-lano age used
by the internal group in speaking of those in exile; they denied that
they had discussed the question of "positions"; they justified, their
expenditures for advertisements and assured the internal group that
money collected had gone for charity for prisoners in Cuba,
3. The exiles urgently requested information about'thb Unidad2 which the
internal group had joined. They were interested in knowing on what
basis it was founded, the participating organizations, specific and
general plans of the 30 November Movement with respect to those in
exile, instructions as to how to proceed with the organizations in
exile which had also signed the Unidad agreement in Cuba, the focus and
tactics of the fight of the Unidad, and other information about the groups.
4,. The exile group commented on the internal organization's suggestion that
the 30 November withdraw from the Cuban Revolutionary Council (CRC).
The exiles said that they were greatly surprised by the internal groupji's

aspects of the-fight but that it was the only available means to
channel supplies and propaganda to Cuba. The unification of the 30
