MEMORANDUM FOR: Chairman, Honor and Merit Awards Board
THROUGH Deputy Director for Management and Services
SUBJECT Honor and Merit Award Reconsideration for
Mr. Chester C. Crawford
1. This memorandum submits a recommendation for the
concurrence of the Deputy Director for Management and Services
and the approval of the Chairman, Honor and Merit Awards Board;
this recommendation is contained in paragraph 2.
2. The Office of Security's Career Service recently
reconsidered its previously approved recommendation for the
Certificate of Distinction award for Mr. Chester C. Crawford.
We believe Mr. Crawford's service with the Agency and this
Office merits the granting of the Career Intelligence Medal.
It is therefore requested that the Career Intelligence Medal
be approved for Mr. Crawford in lieu of the Certificate of
Distinction.
