prepared by Jack Pfeiffer, the late CIA history, Volume II entitled Participation in the
Conduct for Foreign Policy, related to the 1961 Bay of Pigs operation against Cuba. We
have assigned your request the reference number above. Please use this number when
corresponding so that we can identify it easily.
We are currently processing a request for the same records from another requester.
Once our research and review of that request is completed, we will forward to you the
same CIA-originated records, if released. You will be charged ten cents per page for
copies of released material. We have a substantial backlog, which we are working
