As you know from a 6 December 2004 telephone conversation with a member
of my staff, we received your 19 October 2004 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
request concerning. the following:
Your letter states that in 1969 you were "approached by
officials from the U.S. Embassy" and you would like " . . . help
in not only confirming, but also, project details involving
gathering of NATO intelligence information on Soviet
activities in the countries of Hungary and Yugoslavia in 1969.
.. plus projects occurring similar to the above brief
descriptive project."
