Capt. Delafield
It occurred to me that the following might be helpful
as a new argument for LfZr. Cheston in trying to persuade him
that the man who runs the Message Center work in North Africa
must be an officer. A recent pouch letter from IMajor. Nero
states that it is the Army rule in that Theater that crypto-
graphic materials of the type which we use must be in the safe-
keeping of an officer at all times.
