1. ,We note in your reply to our memorandum of 20 October 1950
that your office is in possession of certain individual' personal,
Soviet documents (TAB "A", paragraph 5). These documents are listed
again for your information below.
2. We would appreciate any of the documents listed for our per-
manent retention, if this can be arranged. If your office is unable to
comply, we would'be happy to have the documents on loan for a period of
approximately one month. If this, in turn, cannot be arranged, photo-
stats of the documents at a 1:1 scale would be very helpful to us.
