1. On 30 March 1987, the above-mentioned congressional investigators
interviewed regarding his knowledge concerning the
NSC initiative to Iran and funding of the Contras.
2. tated he had no direct knowledge of the Iran TOW missile
deal. e was e that an Agency bank account was used to finance the sale
of weapons to Iran, but he was not directly involved with use of this
account. He stated that to the best of his best knowledge the Agency was
not involved in setting up Lake Resources or Hyde Park Square Account.
3. stated that he had never met Albert Hakim,Ghorbanifar,
North, or ecor . He did meet General Singlaub once in they pummer of 1986,
but this was merely a social contact. ------- -----
3. had no knowledge of efforts by U.S. government personnel
raise private money for the Contras. He also stated that
e never attempted to solicit aid for the contras through third countries.
Finally, he had no knowledge of the diversion of funds to the Contras.
