FORCES, EUROPEAN THEATER      . of S?r G.2 j 19 Aug 1946 1.  We have been informed that Subject admitted while drunk to be working for the Soviet Intelligence Service.  He claims that he is being controlled by'a Soviet Colonel who left instruc- tions that he should join work with certain person in the Nurenberg area, 16 all told, whose photo- graphs (profile and full face) were shown to him by the Colonel. 2.  Subject lives between FORCffi1EIM and ERLANGEN' House -13A.  -He' `shares`-this- house 'with s: other people who appear to have come recently fror the Soviet Zone.of Germany.  None of them work. 3.  It is suggested that it might be advisable to arrest and interrogate Subject, although it should be noted here that the above information was received from an F-subsource and therefore Subject's past may appear in a different light under questioning. For the SSU Representative, USFET: Tel I  Fra urt 2-4085 154 C. /0-'NEAL F.A . APPROVED FOR RELEASE DATE: 05-Nov-2008 Captain ~
