SUBJECT Special Meeting on Recruitment
1. As announced at the DDI Staff Meeting on Tuesday, I plan
to meet regularly (probably biweekly) with your individual office
designees on recruitment. As Bob mentioned, what is needed here
is someone senior from each office who is competent and
aggressive and who is commissioned to act as your agent on
recruitment and hiring matters. These officers will be spending
much of their time on the recruitment problem for at least the
next couple of months. If you have not done so already, please
let me know whom you wish to select for this task.
2. I have scheduled our first meeting for 1400 hours on
Tuesday, 31 January in the DDI Conference Room. In preparation
for this meeting, I would like to have your suggestions for
information and subjects to be discussed, by c.o.b. Friday, 27
January.
