THE SPONSORS WERE THE REFERENCE LABORATORY FOR MALARIA AND OTHER
PROTOZOAN DISEASES OF THE HALLE DISTRICT HYGIENE INSTITUTE AS WELL
AS THE AFOREMENTIONED INSTITUTE OF THE MLU. THE OCCASION FOR THE
CONFERENCE WAS THE TWENTY FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF
MEDICAL PARAPSYCHOLOGY AND PEST CONTROL OF THE HALLE DISTRICT
HYGIENE INSTITUTE AND THE TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE REFERENCE
LABORATORY FOR MALARIA AND OTHER PROTOZOAN DISEASES. PAPERS
PRESENTED CONTAINED SCIENTIFIC RESULTS WHICH HAD BEEN OBTAINED BY
COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE REFERENCE LABORATORY AND THE DEPARTMENT
WITH MEDICAL FACILITIES OF THE MLU. THEY RELATED TO THE INCIDENCE
AND EPIDEMIOLOGICAL FEATURES OF FREQUENT NATIVE PARASITOSES,
PROGRAM AND INITIAL RESULTS OF SEROLOGICAL TESTS OF PREGNANT WOMEN
FOR NEW OXOPLASMA INFECTION, THE INFRASTRUCTURE AND TRANSMISSION OF
DIENTAMOEBA FRAGILIS, CERTAIN RARE PARASITIC INFECTIONS OF MAN SUCH
AS LARVALTOXOCAROSIS AND FASCIOLOSIS, THE EPIDEMIOLOGY OF DIFFERENT
INTESTINAL PROTOZOAN INFECTIONS, TREATMENT OF TAENIOSIS,
EXPERIMENTAL INFECTIONS OF THE RABBIT EYE WITH DIFFERENT
