Approved F elease 2002/09/04: CIA-RDP80B01-R001200010076-7 UNITED STATES AIR FORCE AIR UNIVERSITY HEADQUARTERS AIR COMMAND AND STAFF Wfa= COLLEGE MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, ALABAMA Honorable Allen Dulles Director, Central Intelligence Agency 2430 E Street, N. W., Washington 25, D. C. Dear Mr. Dulles: Mr. Co D. Jackson, of our United Nations delega. tion, suggested I contact you to determine the availability of a Soviet propaganda film titled "Silvery Dust." Our curriculum here at the Air Command and Staff College includes considerable instruction in psychological operations, and I believe this film would be a valuable supplement to our program. In the event a print of "Silvery Dust" is available, I would certainly appreciate your advising me whether it could be loaned to the Air Command and Staff College for a limited time. TAT stated that originally the fact that this organization possessed a copy of this film was considered highly classified. However, it would seem -that since we have once loaned it to the UN, it may be that this fact is no :Longer so sensitive.. I see no reason for taking further action at this time. I believe we should now merely wait until we receive an official request from General Hopwood for loan of the film. If you agree, I will flag this with ER to have arr letter from General Hopwood brought to my attention.
