SUBJECT: Project AQO&TONE (Octroi)

FROM : Deputy Director of Security (Investigations & Support)
1. Reference is made to the outline of the Project Payment
Plan for the Perkin-Elmer Corporation, dated 1 March 1955 and
concurred in by this Office, the Comptroller and the General
Counsel.
2. This is to confirm verbal information furnished your
Office advising that the procedures outlined in the Payment Plan
have been established.
4. As agreed, this office will handle transmission of payment
and deposit checks and cover transmittal letters to proper persons
in New York City. Individual reports concerning such transactions,
together with appropriate receipts, will be forwarded to the
Comptroller. Copies of such memoranda will be forwarded to your
office for retention in the Perkin-Elmer Corporation contract file.
The check book for the Special account was forwarded by this office
to the Comptroller.
5. To date procedures established have functioned smoothly
and apparently very much to the satisfac of all panties involved.
