1. On 8 November 1982, the undersigned contacted Mr.
Stanley Langfeld of the General Services Administration (GSA)
and received the following information concerning projects at
2430 E Street Complex
a. In September 1982, a letter was sent to GSA in-
forming them that the Agency could not live with the
fiscal year assignment made by GSA for maior work Droiects
at the 2430 E Street
sites. Instead, CIA assigned fiscal years in the near
future. On 13 October 1982, a letter was received from
GSA stating that they agreed with the fiscal year selected
by CIA and would accept them. On 8 November 1982, Mr.
Stanley Langfeld stated taht GSA was certain now that they
had the funds available to undertake these projects.
b. Mr. Dale Gottschalk of GSA is waiting to set up
a meeting with the undersigned to discuss a prospectus
for Community Headquarters Building. This will take place
in the next two weeks.

c. GSA has identified a management trainee named Mr.
Mike Maust who is in residence at the State Field Office
and is to serve as our focql or work requests at
2430 E. Street is contacting Mr. STAT
Maust and will get him over to 2430 E. Street to see the
problems and work out the procedures for using him as our
representative with State forces.
2. Other items under construction by the CIA/GSA task
force have been discussed with C/RECD/OL and the Office of
Security.
