SUBJECT: Meeting with Dranesville District Supervisor
on 21 May 1982
1. The undersigned met with Mrs. Nancy Falck, District
Supervisor, Fairfax County, to apprise her of the current status
of New Building planning.
2. Mrs. Falck was already aware of the Virginia Department
of Highways & Transportation (VDH&T) developments with respect to
Routes 123 and 193 improvements. She has questioned VDH&T
representatives closely and has faith in the $2.5 million
estimate the State has put forward.
3. She was obviously well aware of A&E selection activities
since the fact that two local firms are in competition was
already known to her.
4. The only new information to her was the writer's
statement that road funding had been included in the Building
budget. To this she responded that she would ask Congressman
Wolf and Senator Warner to approach the White House and emphasize
the importance of the roads funding.
5. As on previous occasions, Mrs. Falck volunteered praise
for the cooperation the Agency is demonstrating in dealing with
the local community.
