Dear) and members of the Evaluation Board:
We are most pleased that you have taken the time to visit our offices this
afternoon, so that we can confirm both our sincere interest and ability to
undertake the design of the new Central Intelligence Agency facilities at
the Langley Headquarters site.
We have stressed since our first submittal on February 26, 1982 the importance
of this job to the Association of VVKR, Dewberry & Davis and Everett I. Brown
Company. To demonstrate this we, the members of the Executive Commiteee of
the Association, are fully prepared to commit that the senior managing principal
from each of our three firms will have an active and direct role in this project
throughout the design and construction phases. We fully intend that the
Executive Committee will function as both a technical and design review board
and will become a strengthening element of our project management team.
Both VVKR and Dewberry & Davis have practiced in the local Northern Virginia
community for 26 years, and have had the pleasure of serving the CIA on pre-
vious occasions. We would welcome the challenge of designing your new facilities
and assure each of the Evaluation Board that they will be highly satisfied
with the services of this Association both during and long after our contractual
services have been completed.
