1. We had an extremely busy week last week and had one
trip in which the Motor Pool failed to provide service.
2. We still have not been told that a second driver has
been assigned to us on a permanent basis. Right now it appears
that our second driver is only available for us if she is not
answering another requirement.
3. Let me suggest that you give us a permanent second
driver who will be available for Motor Pool use whenever we are
not using her.
4. I should also warn you that when we run eleven
Congressional hearings a day, like we did last Thursday, we may
need to ask Motor Pool for assistance above the two regular
drivers. I assume our having two permanent drivers does not
preclude this. Be happy to support your next budget request
any way I can.
