It is a pleasure to support attendance at
Harvard's Advanced Management Program. At CIA we continually
evaluate the quality and utility of senior training courses and
the capability and potential of our candidates. In this case the
fit is apt: we have the highest regard for the Advanced
Management Program and for I have no doubt he will
benefit from the program and that he will contribute to it in the
best tradition of CIA. As you can see from his application
(forwarded earlier) he has,a record of solid performance with us
in a variety of positions.
The contribution he has made over the past four years, in a
particularly key position, has been outstanding. I note,
incidentally, that he is moving back into line management so he
will undoubtedly bring a fresh set of management problems and
insights with him to Cambridge in September.
