There are fragmentary reports of the sending of Soviet technical material to Albania. It is known that this material is arriving continuously, but there are no details concerning it. During the past months of Fab and Marsh there arrived in Albania, serose Tugoslavia, various heavy material. There were observed some military convoys, each composed of about 30 motor vehicles transporting material contained in large boxes, the sontents of which one has not yet been able to asesrtain. The greater part of the above materiel was ssn to O'ibasan, following the routes tbstivar - Debar - 11basan. Two or three oonvoys, however, moved along the following routes Oostlivar - Debar - Strugs - toritsa, also carrying large boxes containing heavy satterials. It was also reported on this occasion that the oonvcqs were transporting machines for the now cam uniti on factory, now under construction in the neighborhood of the aforementioned city. The ooamander is a major general whose name is not known. At these headquarters there are always observed now soviet officers, the highest s,dc rank of which is a colonel. In the barracks located on the outskirts of the city there are to gad the units of the A)jvision, namely: a battalion of automatic weapons, a company of engineers,, a mountain battery, a battery of heavy mortars, an antia'roraft battery, a platoon of transports, a medical platoon, an antigas platoon, a platoon for logistic ser^4oss. In addition, the following is also lodged in the barraoks 311th Rifle Regiment. Commander: Major Mamas Ooso. Political Cowdssarj Major Msbset Taresi. The Regiment is Bade up of 3 rifle bait=ilions, in addition to regimental units. About 35 youngsters belong to this organisation. Each one pays 10 Lek per month. All but the youngsters of families considered XTLAKS and of those not enrolled in the WDemocratic ?rontN have the right to become members of the organization, Once a month, and very rarely twice, the members of this organisation hold meetings in the school of the village. Various 'Agitators' (doesn't know naies) deliver speeches to the youngsters on sab3eats such as S'i story of the Albanian C, P. N N N C.P. of the Soviet Union and of other countries.
