successfully utilized 400-cycle equ pmen an that~if the US experiments continue
to be successful, the East German merchant marine might also adopt 400-cycle 25X1
equipment other information concerning the problems in-
volved changing over to 400-cycle equipment, such as, realigning production
6f'transformers, keeping up with world market requirements, etc. VEB Funkwerk
Koepenick representatives stated that after adoption of 400-cycle equipment, it
would take about a year to change over radar equipment and about two years to
change over RYro compasses.
