1, In February 1954,R8'T Funkwerk Dresden ordered 5,000 vacillation quartzes
from V~$ Oarl Zeiss, Jena. The quartses are purportedly tv be used for
wireless telephones to be installed in Machine Tractor Stations throughout
fast Germany. It is believed, however, that this is not their real purpose,
and that they are to be used by.Feat German Police and Jlrmed Forces. Delivery
will begin in April 1954,
2. The frequencies of the quartzes range from 7.0833 to 13.833 megacycles.
